The Other Us is the front for a network of skilled consultants located in Stockholm, Sweden, Europe. We have been in the business of helping our clients reach their customers using any available media since the late 90's. The diversity of our previous engagements has given us a unique view on the application of different technologies to reach a goal. The Other Us is a company in motion constantly experimenting and comparing new solutions to old; always trying to find the best match of technologies to deliver the best solution.

We do work in the following fields

Our strongest fields of experience are graphical design and system engineering. We have been working with designing websites for companies since before broadband. We do work with all the popular internet technologies like cgi/bin (yes we do recognise it's old but it's still out there), asp, php and java. We also feel that conformity with standards is of the highest priority and we validate all our code and markup language before deployment. It's our firm belief that being a good internet citizen makes for good business practise.

Graphical design

We produce illustrations and designs for use with print or digital publishing.

Web development

We do high quality web development using xhtml, css and dhtml, javascript and ajax. Our work is always fully standards conforming on all platforms when applicable.

Entry level systems development

Simple web only applications such as forums, webshop, corporate intranets. Low cost solutions using only open source tools: Linux, Apache, MySql and PHP; or the Microsoft platform and asp/asp.net.

Systems development

For high traffic, data intensive or structually complicated systems we have a group of senior java developers with previous experience including light frameworks, large three tier systems and enterprise tools such as j2ee, stripes, spring, jdbc, hibernate, and struts to mention a few.
